| At the end of February, 2008, I hit a deer pre-dawn. The bike did a complete 360 side-over-side cartwheel (with me on). Between damaging pretty much everything that stuck out on the bike :) and the high cost of BMW replacement parts, the bike was totaled. I was extremely fortunate: nothing broken, just a lot of bruising, some minor scrapes, and a jammed left thumb and first finger. |
