Dec 3, 2018: Worst (or best depending on your sense of humor) case of over-packaging yet! There was air wrap too. These are 5 gal unbreakable buckets & yes they would’ve fit all in one box, as well as the smaller box, all ordered from same place at same time in the same order. Was free shipping for me to boot. I wondered if this was going to happen when I got 5 tracking numbers 🙂
Nov 30, 2018: My first Alabama Chanin. Above left is the “before” picture. Above right is the “after” picture. I bought someone else’s kit off eBay on an impulse. I did absolutely eeverything wrong: ignored that this stencil was meant to be beaded, sewed sloppy too-small stitches & put sleeves on it. I hated everything about it – except for the fit. So I overdyed it this morning. I like it a whole lot better now. Just ignore the fuzzies – that was another brilliant idea (not) of dyeing cotton sliver in the same pot.
Nov 27, 2018: Good-sized shawlette. good-sized cat (that’s a double bed) one gradient skein with clear definition between colors. I may write this pattern up. Yarn was gift from a friend I believe.
Nov 20, 2018: I’m trying an experiment – let’s see which fiber gets reviewed by FB first – BOTH are already approved (which doesn’t mean a thing to FB – They called a few of my products “adult”). In other words, the FACEBOOK SHOP is ALSO OPEN!
Nov 17, 2018: This is the NEW Southern Pleasure roving: wool/silk/flax. You may shop for it from the link above or directly from Instagram and Facebook!
Nov 13, 2018: If anyone remembers I finished it last year at the end of our winter. From a 1987 or so book & yarn I got a couple of years ago at Stitches a Texas.
Nov 5, 2018: Just a pretty sunset to go along with this BIG THANK YOU to all who ordered from my NEW shopping cart & Intentionally or UNintentionally, served as my Sandbox Testers! Extra-Special Thanks to those who let me know something was wrong! All better now & all your orders are on their way out with a little something extra for all your help! Needs a bit more prettifying, but working like a charm now!
Oct 30, 2018: She says it fits her quite well and is comfortable to boot. I wish I could say the same for it fitting Kaylee properly – if anything it is TOO wide. So it is going to another home as soon as I get it all cleaned up.
Oct 30, 2018: So my beloved old Dominique Barbier brown dressage saddle that fits Kaylee and Sierra has a torn seat. Yes, I could use a seat saver, but I don’t like those. This is not a cheap repair. I’m going to try and patch it. Why? It fits Kaylee & Sierra & me. And it fits KAYLEE – I repeat fits KAYLEE. Stay tuned! Plus it came from a friend – and has special meaning!
Oct 4, 2018: Yes I started it during the Eclipse in Aug of 2017 (texknitter &I were there to see totality in Nebraska) . A Jess Roselyn Pattern: The Great American Eclipse on Ravelry. Lots of fun technique. Very well thought out pattern.
Sept 24, 2018: Went thru the military park & visited the Cairo on my way out of Vicksburg Sunday. Got the shot of a lifetime (at least for me & any other cat person) at the Cairo 🙂 – a ship’s cat with a sense of history!
