THANK YOU ALL for making 2007 a successful year for me at the various festivals I attended and for the many orders that came in via the internet. Estes Park, Taos, Farmington and all the rest were just wonderful, as usual!

Workshop teaching for the first time at Big Sky Fiber Festival in Hamilton, Montana in June 2007 was WONDERFUL. It was right before Estes Park which made it an exhausting month, but Estes was equally wonderful so it was all worth it.

And I wrapped up my 15 years at Taos (several of them not only as a vendor but as a Board Member, Workshop Coordinator, Website Manager and Catalogue Coordinator) with a grand festival – workshops were well-received and it was a successful show otherwise. I’m going to miss a lot about Taos, but it was time to move on – other places to go and people to see.

I ended up the year with my double duty stint – virtually at Kid ‘n Ewe in Boerne Texas and Best of the Southwest in Farmington New Mexico at the same time. BJ Heeke manned the booth in Boerne.

The Spin In Retreat in Destin Florida is behind me for January 08 and was wonderful as usual.

Schedule for early 2008 (updated 6/1/08)

March 14-16, 2008 – Wildflower Fiber Retreat – Camp Tyler, Texas. I made it there again and it was wonderful as usual. Hope to go again next year!

April 4-6, 2008 – DFW Fiber Fest – Addison, Texas. I taught Basic Socks (Friday) and was also vending. This is a fine small teaching conference with some really good vendors and a lovely location.

June 12-15, 2008 – Estes Park Wool Market – Estes Park, Colorado. I coordinated the Workshops for them this year and will be vending as well, sharing my booth again with Ellen Sibelius as we decided sharing was much more fun than going it alone (plus really good for bathroom breaks).

August 1-3, 2008 – SRS Cloudcroft Retreat – Cloudcroft, New Mexico. I’ll be teaching something knitting – Socks I think, and vending and having a wonderful time as usual.
